The Duality Paradox
There will always be distractions that is why focus feels impossible. There will always be comfort asking you to rest, do tomorrow, take a break, one more reel that is why discipline is rare. You will always face situations where you find your heart pounding, feeling scared, nervous that is why Courage is really difficult.
There will always be lust, cheap thrills, instant entertainment that is why self-control is like war.
Mind will always wander that is why meditation and awareness are found by a few.
You just need to understand that the most courageous person you know is also scared of something. Disciplined person is scared that if he takes one little extra break, he may collapse.
All humans feel all the emotions, the high achieveres or average, all are scared, nervous, have doubts, feel like not working, feel lazy, wanna sleep more, wanna eat more, wanna rest whole day, but people who make it regardless of what they feel, they take that step.
That is why Top 1% exists in this world. They are just better than an average human being.
The lie you believe in says, meditate when is mind is calm.
No, Mediation happen in the middle of distractions.
Discipline lives in the comfort.
Self-control lives in the lust.
Courage lives only because there is fear.
Peace lives in the anger.
Focus is born inside the distractions.
There will be no discipline, courage, peace or focus if there was not comfort, fear, anger, and distractions.
It’s equilibrium. They stay together. Just like night exists only when there is a day. Night has meaning only because day exists. If there were only daylight, even the sun would feel ordinary. Hunger is what makes the first bite unforgettable.
Never wait for it to get easier, it won’t. It never does.
The distractions will stay, the fear will stay, the temptations will stay.
True mastery is not about eliminating fear, lust, or laziness; it’s about carrying them on your back and still moving forward. The top 1% are not superhuman; but they are the people carrying the baggage and average ones have opened this baggage and eating what’s inside. They won’t get anywhere. They won’t achieve anything. They will blame others, they will think that successful or rich people are mean. They themselves couldn’t carry the burden that is why they feel even others can’t. It’s the mentality which failed them.
Where do you stand with this?
